it takes a decade

A few days ago I learned something new from a good friend of mine.
This is what he said to me.
"I just want to create things. I don't need to be famous. I want my creation to speak for me. I don't think I need status in society because I've already had enough friends to live this life."
" I just want to take full ownership of my time, to do the thing that makes me happy—that's what I defined living life to the fullest".
"The first year will be a trial and error phase when you start something new. The next five years will be the time when you'll gain value from what you've built. And I bet the next decade there will be a peak time of your journey where the result speaks for itself—that's what people used to call "an overnight success".
We learned by trying things and getting used to it every day.
It takes a decade. We don't need to be in a rush.
Life is short. Move purposely and fix things along the way.
