Life will find you peace when you don't need to prove everything to everyone. When you do something for yourself you'll get used to ignoring what others would think or react about your life. It's a simple thing but not easy. Once I tried to ignore external validation, my life became 10x better— I gradually found peace within myself.
I mean I can start my podcast, record myself singing, write a blog, learn something new, and do anything I could imagine because I do it for myself. I don't need to please everyone. The problem you'll frequently encounter is once you decide on your action and your choice, you have to be ready for all the risks and rewards you'll gain, and there is nothing to complain about because you decided it for yourself.
I remember when someone asked me, which one do you prefer to choose?
focus on one thing and get better every day doing that one thing so it would be easier for you to prepare for a job later in life, or
learn a lot of things to accumulate a "broader" amount of knowledge, but your level of understanding will never be the same (means "deeper") than the former, and it might affect your chance of getting the job you want later in life.
You might have heard about a T-shaped / M-shaped / V-shaped skills.
All I can say is do whatever feels good to you at first, do things that make you more curious, more motivated, more fulfilled, and happier. You'll find the one that will fit you along the way. One step at a time.
